Response times are usually very quick. It is not unusual to start receiving quotations form linguists within minutes of posting your job (even in the middle of the night). This is especially so if your job is for popular language combinations.

If you are happy with a quotation and wish to accept it then the linguist should let you know quickly if he or she is available or not. Most of the time the response time will be within 24 hours. You could even get an immediate reply. In most cases the response time is dictated by the customer themselves. Quotations tend to come in very quickly so if the customer is in a hurry they may wish to accept one soon. Alternatively, if there is a while until the deadline then they may wait a while to get the best deal.
